PIPING |
 |
Flue piping
A chimney pipe, or flue pipe, is a tube or cylinder that is made to vent stoves and appliances that are fuelled by wood, coal, oil, and sometimes gas. Some of the appliances that use chimney pipes include wood stoves, freestanding stoves, and fireplaces, insert stoves and boiler stoves. Some kinds of appliances will need one specific type of chimney pipe, while others can use a variety of different kinds for the same purpose. If you have a masonry chimney your stove will have to connect to that chimney. If you have a chimney and the existing clay flue is damaged you can reline the chimney with a solid fuel flexi flue.
