WOOD BURNING INSERT STOVES

A wood burning stove is better in environmental terms than coal or smokeless fuels as it is a carbon neutral fuel, the amount of carbon dioxide released is approximately the same as that absorbed by the tree during growth. From the smallest to the largest, every insert stove has built-in features that improve its performance. For example, the clean burn system is designed to reduce carbon emissions from the insert stove. Don't be under any illusions you can still burn turf, briquettes and eco logs as well as your timber. However you will not be able to burn coal.
